xmas cookies recipe || receita de biscoitos de natal

So, here’s the recipe for the cookies I made last sunday!

I boiled ¼ of a mug of cooking oil with the peel of half a lemon. I put this mixture in a bowl and added 2 eggs, 250g of flour, 3 teaspoons of cinnamon, half a mug of sugar and half a teaspoon of baking powder. I mixed very well using my hands until homogeneous.
Then, I let this mixture rest for 1 hour (last half and hour in the fridge). I “stretched” the dough and cut with the molds. I sprinkled the top with a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
The cookies were placed in a tray with cooking oil and flour and baked for 15 min. when they are cold they should be stored in a box… if any is left to be stored

Aqui vai a receita dos biscoitos que fiz no último domingo!

Fervi ¼ de chávena de óleo com a casca de meio limão. Coloquei numa tigela e juntei 2 ovos, 250g de farinha, 3 colheres de chá de canela, meia chávena de açúcar e meia colher de chá de fermento. Amassei tudo muito bem com as mãos até formar uma bola homogénea.
Deixei repousar a massa durante 1 hora (a última meia hora no frigorífico). Depois é só esticar a massa e cortar com forminhas lindas, ou moldar com a mão. Polvilhei com uma mistura de açúcar e canela.
Foram ao forno em lume brando (num tabuleiro untado com óleo e polvilhado com farinha) durante 15 min.
Depois de frios devem guardar-se numa lata… se sobrarem alguns para serem guardados

Ei! Kumpel is on TalentDatabase frontpage of the Crafts Channel! wow! I was not expecting something like this! Editors wrote a very nice text about Ei! Kumpel. I feel very happy and yes… very proud! It’s like and early xmas present!

handmade pledge || Comprar feito à mão

I made all my xmas shopping some weeks ago! this must be the least stressful xmas ever! I took the handmade pledge very serious and now I can proudly say that 83% of my presents are handmade! yay! I made most of the presents and bought all the others at Etsy. I’m happy. And proud. Happy because I have unique presents like beautiful necklaces, warm scarflettes, tasty lip balms and soaps that look like cakes and candies! And proud to support independent artists rather then big companies.

Terminei as minhas compras de natal há umas semanas atrás. Este deve ser o natal com menos stress dos últimos anos! Levei o handmade pledge muito a sério e agora posso, orgulhosamente dizer que 83% dos presentes que vou oferecer são feitos à mão! yay! Fiz a maioria dos presents e os outros comprei no Etsy. Estou contente. E orgulhosa. Contente porque tenho presentes únicos como lindos colares, scarflettes quentinhas, batons saborosos e sabonetes que parecem fatias de bolos e doces! E orgulhosa por apoiar artistas independentes em vez de grandes companhias.

xmas cookies and more… || biscoitos de natal e mais…

I finished all the crafts on saturday. And yesterday I started to feel empty, with nothing to do… so I went to the kitchen, put on some xmas music (yay!!) and started to make stuff. I made apple crumble and some xmas cookies. Both turned out great, but the xmas cookies were perfect: they looked beautiful, tasted amazing and were so crispy!! yummy!
