Break || Pausa
Tomorrow I will leave for a couple of weeks off. I will be back on the 9th of March, with my body batteries completely charged and hopefully, very inspired and with some new craft supplies. I will attend a scientific meeting (here I will give an oral presentation, wish me luck!!) and then I will take some time off for a decent holiday… I need it badly, I’m felling more tired each day… So, have a nice time while I’m out, I will tell you all about it when I’m back! 
Amanhã parto para duas semanas fora. Volto no dia 9 de Março, com as minhas baterias corporais completamente carregadas e, esperemos, muito inspirada e com alguns materiais novos! Vou participar numa conferência científica (onde vou fazer uma apresentação oral, desejem-me sorte!) e depois vou tirar uns dias de férias decentes… estou mesmo a precisar, sinto-me mais cansada a cada dia que passa… Fiquem bem e eu volto para contar todinho!

The Crafter’s Companion
“The Crafter’s Companion” is a great book. It’s a compilation of interviews to several crafters around the world (including Tania Ho, a portuguese crafter!!). Each artist talk about inspirations, creative spaces, why she creates and leave us a tutorial to something lovely. It was a great reading and I got very inspired. I like to read about other crafters, here they create, why they create… and specially, I like to look at photos of craft supplies, craft rooms… it feels so nice!

Kumpel Dolls
I created a new plush! Kumpel Doll – the doll that is a friend! (Kumpel = german for friend, pal…) She is a great company and will keep you happy all day long!
I’m so happy with this new design. I got inspired when I was working and came across with a picture of a unicellular organism (yes, being a biologist is weird!). I made 3 dolls in a row! They are all available (here and here).
Criei um novo boneco! Kumpel doll – as bonecas amigas! (Kumpel = palavra alemã para amigo, companheiro…). Ela é uma boa companhia e vai manter-te contente todo o dia!
Estou muito contente com este design! Fiquei inspirada quando estava a trabalhar e vi uma foto de um ser unicelular (sim, ser bióloga é esquisito!). Fiz logo 3 bonecas de seguida! Estão todas disponíveis (aqui e aqui).
