The long weekend was good, very good indeed. We walked, we read, we saw movies and I crafted! 
quite perfect ah? I have a lot of new stuff to show you but I’m not quite pleased with the photos yet, so I will just leave you with a small sneak peek into two new brooches. I hope that by tomorrow I will be able to show you some more! see you soon!
O fim de semana grande foi bom, muito bom para dizer a verdade. Passeámos, lêmos, vimos filmes e eu fiz crafts! Quase perfeito, ah? Tenho um montão de coisas novas para mostrar mas ainda não estou completamente satisfeita com as fotos que tirei por isso deixo só umas espreitadela a duas novas pregadeiras. book: toys to sew || livro: toys to sew
Toys to Sew is a good book. Not a great book, I shall say. It has good ideas, but not amazing ones, at least it didn’t pushed my creativity to the limit. I didn’t feel inspired, if you know what I mean. Anyway, it’s well written and the photos are pretty good!
It’s going to be a big weekend in the UK (bank holiday on Monday) and I hope I will have something new to show you after words! take care!
Toys to Sew é um bom livro: não é um livro fantástico, devo dizer. Tem boas ideias, mas não ideias maravilhosas, pelo menos não senti a minha creatividade a ser puxada aos limites. Não me senti inspirada… De qualquer forma, está bem escrito e as fotografias são boas!
Vai ser um fim de semana grande aqui no UK (é feriado segunda feira) e espero ter algo novo para vos mostrar depois! Até lá!

finally something new! || finalmente algo novo!
yay! new crafts!! How I missed to have something new to show you! I’m working on a new brooch collection, following the basic trend I started here. This is the first one and I’m very pleased with it. I use brooches almost everyday and sometimes I just want something simple and basic… like this What do you thing? Do you like brooches? Will you use something like this? Have a nice Wednesday!

Esta é a primeira dessas pregadeiras e estou bastante satisfeita com o resultado. Elsita
Elsita is an artist that I discovered not to long ago. But yet, she became one of my favourites. There are a lot of splendid artists out there, a lot of works that I admire. But with Elsita it’s different… not only her drawings and other works are magical and amazing, but she also is a very special and wonderful person. The way she writes makes me like her more and more and more. She have the freshness of a child and a lot of love for her life. I’m always anxious to read her blog posts and quite often I end up with a smile on my face… and that it’s truly wonderful and special!
Elsita é uma artista que descobri não há muito tempo. Mas ainda assim, rapidamente ela tornou-se numa das minhas favoritas. Há muitos artistas fabulosos por aí, há muitos trabalhos que admiro. Mas com a Elsita é diferente… não só os desenhos e outros trabalhos dela são mágicos e maravilhosos, como ela é uma pessoa muito especial e fantástica. A maneira como ela escreve faz-me gostar mais dela a cada novo post. Ela tem a frescura de uma criança e um enorme amor pela vida. Fico sempre curiosa para ler um novo post e quase sempre termino a leitura com um sorriso… e isso é de facto maravilhoso e muito especial

crafts magazine || revista de crafts
When I was in Chicago, I found this lovely magazine in one of the many visits to Borders. I found it so cute, tiny and handy that I decided to bring it with me. Turned out to be a big surprise. It’s full of easy but wonderful projects and even though I don’t have kids there are a lot of projects that I want to do! They stimulate you to use materials that you have at home, like cardboard, jars and plastic bottles and turn that “rubbish” into something beautiful. I feel happy and light when I browse this mag!
Quando estive em Chicago encontrei esta revista muito engraçada, numa das muitas visitas à livraria Borders. Esta revista é gira, pequena e perfeita para andar na carteira e por isso trouxe-a comigo. Acabou por ser uma grande surpresa. Está cheia de projectos simples mas muito interessantes e, apesar de eu não ter filhos, há uma série de projectos que quero experimentar. A revista estimula-nos a usar materiais que temos em casa, como cartão, frascos e garrafas de plástico e transformar esse “lixo” em algo bonito. Fico feliz e leve só de folhear esta revistinha!
