sewing book || livro de costura
I finally was able to grab this wonderful book, in portuguese as I wanted! It’s the portuguese version of the Reader’s Digest Complete Guide to Sewing and I just love it. It’s full of details and explains really well all the steps you need to follow to sew something. And, of course, the retro look is something that I adore! I bought this book on a auction…maybe now I will learn how to sew… properly!
Finalmente consegui comprar este magnífico livro, O Grande Livro da Costura, em português, tal como eu queria! está cheio de detalhes e explica mesmo bem todos os passos necessários para costurar. E claro, adoro o aspecto retro das figuras e do livro! Comprei-o num leilão, no miau… talvez agora aprenda a costurar… em condições!!

Update || actualização
Oh my, time does fly! I’m now back to the UK, but I haven’t craft anything because I’m really busy with my PhD thesis. I usually craft on weekends but this past weekend I had a great surprise: I returned from Portugal on friday and had one of the greatest weekend ever in England! It was (and it still is) very sunny, hot and perfect! As a good portuguese girl, I do love the sun, and I do love the summer. We went to the beach and everything, to a place called Durdle Door, in Dorset. This beach is amazing, so beautiful! Well, I hope to be back on crafts soon… see you soon!
Puff, o tempo voa de verdade! Estou de volta ao Reino Unido, mas ainda não toquei nos crafts, ando mesmo ocupada com as coisas para a minha tese de Doutoramento. Normalmente faço crafts ao fim de semana, mas quando regressei de Portugal na sexta feira tinha uma surpresa: um dos melhores fins de semana de sempre desde que estou em Inglaterra! Esteve (e ainda está) muito sol e bastante calor, perfeito! Como boa portuguesa adoro o sol e adoro o verão. Fomos à praia e tudo, a um sítio chamado Durdle Door, em Dorset. A praia é fantástica, é tão bonita! Espero voltar aos crafts em breve… até já!

She’s Big! || Ela é grande!
I had a custom order, a bigger Kumpel Doll. She’s very sweet and I quite like the result, because she’s proper for lots of hugs! 
I’m enjoying my time in Portugal very much… the weather is so great, the food, and to be around my family and friends is the best!
Tive uma encomenda personalizada, uma Kumpel Doll maior. Ela é muito querida e eu gosto muito do resultado, já que ela é muito apropriada para muitos abracinhos!
Estou a aproveitar e adorar a minha semana em Portugal… o tempo é tão bom, a comida, e estar perto da minha família e amigos é do melhor!
