The true Christmas spirit should be about help the others: with our love and with our actions. The amazing Grameen Foundation has a new campaign “Stop poverty Now“. What could be better than to help women with their small businesses? Not give them money, but lend them money, allowing them to invest and make more money for their families. You can donate as little as 10$… and it could make a big difference on someone’s life!
O verdadeiro espírito de natal deveria ser àcerca de ajudar os outros: com o nosso amor e com as nossas acções. A fantástica Fundação Grameen tem uma nova campanha” Stop poverty Now“. O que pode ser melhor do que ajudar mulheres e os seus pequenos negócios? Não lhes damos dinheiro, emprestamos, permitindo assim que invistam e gerem mais dinheiro para as suas famílias. Pode-se doar apenas 10$ (cerca de 7.18€)… e podem fazer toda a diferença na vida de alguém!

I’m not going to spend xmas in England, we’re traveling to Portugal… but I like xmas so much that I need to have some decorations around… I made almost all of them (well, except the three and the cute Santa!) and I’m very pleased. My handmade xmas looks like this:

the knitting continues || o tricot continua
Because it feels so good! Last time I was in Portugal, my dear Mom taught me how to make a cable-knit. She always teaches me something new every time I go there, which is quite great! Turns out the cable-knit it’s quite easy to make and look so good! I did not lose any time and started a new project right away. Looks good, ha?
Porque sabe muito bem! Da última vez que estive em Portugal a minha querida Mãe ensinou-me a tricotar tranças. Ela ensina-me sempre algo novo quando vou lá, o que é mesmo muito bom! Afinal tricotar tranças é bastante fácil e o resultado é tão bonito! Por isso não perdi tempo e pus logo mãos à obra, começando um novo projecto. Tem bom aspecto, ah?
