Beatrix Potter

A few months ago, while I was visiting the lovely blog from Laura Baillie, I read about Beatrix Potter and the film “Miss Potter”. I started wondering why I haven’t saw that film… I reckon it was one of those “need to see this but do not have time right now” things and I completely forgot about it. Anyway, after reading Laura’s words about the film I managed to see it and what a lovely movie it is! Afterwards I search about Beatrix and she was a wonderful and strong woman. Her imagination was truly special, as well as her love for nature. Two places that Beatrix loved and that inspired her a lot are Cumbria in England and Scotland and I fortuned enough to had visited (and loved) them both (here and here). I had to put my hands on some Beatrix’s books and luckily I bought 4 on ebay. They are cute, lovely and so so inspiring!

Há alguns meses atrás, enquanto visitava o blog da Laura Baillie, li sobre Beatrix Potter e o filme “Miss Potter”. Perguntei-me porque raio não tinha visto esse filme… acho que foi uma daquelas situações “tenho que ver este filme mas agora não tenho tempo”, até que acabei por me esquecer. De qualquer forma, depois de ler o post da Laura fiquei cheia de vontade de ver o filme e foi o que fiz. O filme é muito giro e depois acabei por passar algum tempo a pesquisar sobre Beatrix Potter, uma mulher fantástica e de personalidade forte. A imaginação dela era mesmo especial, assim como o seu amor pela natureza. Dois sítios que ela adorava e que a inspiraram muito são a Cumbria, em Inglaterra e a Escócia e eu tenho a sorte de já ter visitado (e adorado) os dois (aqui e aqui). Depois disto tinha que conseguir agarrar uns livrinhos da Beatrix e cheia de sorte encontrei 4 no ebay. São giros, queridos e muito inspiradores!
