Lindos
Lindos is a very, very pretty village in the island of Rhodes. We got there by boat (which was great!) and on our way back the boat stooped in the middle of the Mediterranean and people could have a swim 
The water was amazing!
Lindos é uma vila mesmo muito bonita na ilha de Rodes. Fomos até lá de barco (foi tão bom!) e na volta o barco parou no meio do Mediterraneo e quem quisesse podia saltar e mergulhar A água estava fantástica!

Rhodes City || Cidade de Rodes
So we choose to stay in the city of Rhodes, while in our short holiday in Greece. Our hotel had the beach on the other side of the road, which was great, and the city centre was within a nice 15 min walk. The city of Rhodes is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it was once the location of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The city is beautiful and full of history. I really enjoyed it!
Pois então escolhemos a cidade de Rodes como base para as nossas mini férias na Grécia. O nosso hotel tinha a praia logo do outro lado da rua e o centro ficava a uns 15 minutos a pé. A cidade de Rodes é Património Mundial (UNESCO) e em tempos foi localização de uma das Sete Maravilhas do Mundo. A cidade é bonita e cheia de história. Adorei!

So more details on our holiday. We choose the island of Rhodes for 2 reasons: direct flight (no waiting in Athens, etc.) and the huge probability of really nice weather in the middle of September. We were not disappointed! The weather was absolutely amazing, the minimum was 23ºC (and that was during the night) and the maximum around 30ºC! The beaches are lovely around the island (but some are pebble beaches, not sandy ones!) and the water was nice and warm. I miss these days already!

Mais detalhes sobre as nossas férias. Escolhemos a ilha de Rodes sobretudo por 2 motivos: voas directos (sem esperas em Atenas, transferes, etc.) e a grande probabilidade de apanharmos bom tempo a meio de Setembro. Não nos desiludimos! O tempo esteve sempre absolutamente fantástico, minima de 23ºC durante a noite e máxima de 30ºC. As praias são lindas (mas algumas são de cascalho e não de areia!!) e a água é quentinha. Já estou com saudades destes dias bem passados!

holiday || férias
Sorry for the absence, but we finally were able to go on holiday! I know that we go to Portugal and everything, but it’s not a holiday, we don’t rest at all… but we see the family and friends and that’s great. Anyway, this time we went to a Greek Island, Rhodes. It was wonderful, the weather was amazing, the food was good and all in all it was a really relaxing holiday. I will tell you all about it and I have lots of photos to show you, but I also have tones of work to do, so I will be back as soon as possible. Promise
Desculpem a ausência, mas finalmente conseguimos ir de férias!! Eu sei que vamos a Portugal e tal, mas não é a mesma coisa, não são férias a sério, não descansamos nada… mas vemos a família e os amigos e isso é muito bom. De qualquer forma, desta vez fomos até uma Ilha Grega, Rodes. Foi fantástico, o tempo esteve extraordinário, a comida era boa e foram uns dias mesmo relaxantes. Tenho muito para contar e muitas fotos para mostrar, mas também tenho imenso trabalho para fazer por isso volto assim que possível! Prometido
