Thank you for all your messages, comments and emails after last week’s revelation 
It feels so special to know that you also get excited with my good news! Here are some details on this pregnancy:
- I’m 26 weeks pregnant (that’s almost 6 months!!)
- Due date is the beginning of September.
- I had horrible morning sickness. All day long!
- We decided not to know the sex of the baby until the day he or she is born. It makes the moment even more special, in our perspective.
- I love being pregnant. I love my big, round belly.
- Kicks: the most amazing feeling. Ever!
- I have heartburn, acid reflux, puffy feet, pain here and there and other things you really don’t want to know. But I try not to complain too much, as I feel so, so incredibly lucky to be carrying a new life inside me.
- Baby will born in England. Baby will be Portuguese.

- Estou grávida de 26 semanas (quase 6 meses!!)
- O baby está previsto para o início de Setembro.
- Tive enjoos horríveis. O dia todo!
- Decidimos não saber o sexo do bebé até ao dia em que ele ou ela nascer. Para nós, isso torna esse momento ainda mais especial.
- Adoro estar grávida. Adoro a minha barriga grande e redonda.
- Pontapés: a sensação mais fantástica… de sempre!
-Tenho azia, refluxo ácido, pés inchados e outras coisas que vocês não querem saber. Mas tento não me queixar muito já que me sinto muito, muito sortuda por poder carregar dentro de mim um novo ser humano.
- O baby vai nascer em Inglaterra. O baby vai ser Português.

As you may have noticed I haven’t been the best blogger lately… it’s not so much that I don’t have enough time or energy to blog, it’s more that my head is very distracted these days with other matters. I’ve something rather exciting to share with you: I’m pregnant! I’m expecting our first baby and – I know it sounds like a cliché – but I couldn’t be happier. Sometimes I still can’t believe this is really happening and it’s only when I have a glance of myself in the mirror that I realise that that growing belly is my own… it’s all so magical: to have life growing inside me, to care for this baby all day long, to feel the kicks and movements… So forgive me if the blog is being a bit boring lately, but my head is just full of baby stuff!

Como já devem ter notado, este blog não tem andado muito activo ultimamente… não é que não tenha tempo ou energia para blogar, mas a minha cabeça anda muito distraida com outros assuntos. Tenho algo muito especial para partilhar com vocês: estou grávida! Estou grávida do nosso primeiro filho/filha e, apesar de parecer um lugar comum, a verdade é que não podia estar mais feliz com esta gravidez. Por vezes é difícil acreditar que isto está mesmo a acontecer e é apenas quando vislumbro a minha figura no espelho que me apercebo que aquela barriga que cresce a cada semana, é a minha barriga… é tudo tão mágico e especial: ter vida dentro de mim, cuidar deste bebé todo o dia, todos os dias, sentir os pontapés e movimentos… Por isso desculpem-me se este blog ter andado aborrecido e monótono, mas a minha cabeça está cheia de coisas de bebé!

yellow fields || campos amarelos
Every year, towards the middle of April it’s pretty common to spot beautiful yellow fields around the English countryside. These fields are vast and the yellow is so intense that really grabs your attention. They encompass thousands of brassica flowers and they just fade away after 4-6 weeks. They make my journeys to works much more pleasant!
Todos os anos, por volta de meio de Abril, é comum encontrarem-se lindos campos amarelos no countryside Inglês. São campos muito vastos e o amarelo é tão intenso que capta mesmo a atenção de quem passa. Estes campos são compostos por milhares de flores de colza e começam a desaparecer passadas umas 4 ou 6 semanas. Tornam a minha viagem para o trabalho muito mais agradável!
