My time these days goes mostly to feed Enzo, change his nappy, play with him, sing and dance, make silly faces and hold him when he needs comforting (which happens a lot!). Days seem so short now! Knitty Gritty Thoughts

Este ano não tenho tempo para fazer as coisas que gostaria. Os meus dias são ocupados a alimentar o Enzo, mudar a fralda, brincar, cantar e dançar, fazer caretas e andar com ele ao colo quando ele está rabujento (o que acontece frequentemente!). Os dias parecem-me tão curtos agora! Mesmo assim, tenho sempre imensos projectos que gostaria de tentar e estes ornamentos natalícios são simplesmente fabulosos. Se adoram “feito à mão” mas não têm tempo para fazer algo ou simplesmente não sabem fazer, mas ainda assim querem oferecer presentes simples, elegantes e especiais com um toque pessoal esta pode ser uma boa ajuda: sacos com bolbos. Para mim é uma super ideia! Tutorial completo aqui.

It has been quite a long time since I’ve bought crafty books; since there are so many beautiful ideas and tutorials on the internet I tend to “forget” about books. As much as I love the internet, there’s still something very special about holding a book and going trough all those pages. In an attempt to make me try more sewing project, I bought these two books. I’m still exploring them, but I must say they are both so interesting!

Antes do Natal decidi comprar uma prendinha a mim mesma. Já se passou bastante tempo desde a última vez que comprei um livro de crafts: há tanta coisa gira na internet que às vezes acabo por me “esquecer” dos livros. Mas por muito que adore a internet, para mim continua a ser algo de muito especial: segurar o livro e explorar as páginas todas. Numa tentativa de me motivar a tentar mais projectos de costura, comprei estes dois livros. Ainda os estou a explorar, mas até agora revelaram-se os dois bastante interessantes!
