My dad, part 2 || O meu pai, parte 2
You may remember my dad’s crafty skills from here. Well, apparently he has been working in a new project and he recently sent me some photos. It’s a old charcoal iron that my dad renovated and I think it looks beautiful!

My Lovely England
I must admit that when I moved to the English countryside I was not completely convinced that I would like it. I always loved cities (my favourite place is New York city!), so the perspective of moving to a small town in rural England was not very appealing. Anyway, I soon feel in love with the countryside… it’s so beautiful, so picturesque, so postcardish! The love for the countryside is still growing and I often find myself smiling while driving home: the view is stunning, especially on those sunny days. I decided it’s time to share my love for the countryside, so every week I will be posting photos I took since I moved here. Most of the photos are from Somerset, the county where I live, but other are from far away counties! Hope you like it.

Tenho que admitir que quando me mudei para o countryside Inglês não estava lá muito convencida que iria gostar. Sempre adorei cidades (o meu sítio preferido é Nova Iorque), por isso a perspectiva de me mudar para uma pequena vila da Inglaterra rural não era lá muito atraente. Mas, rapidamente me apaixonei pelo countryside… é tão bonito, tão pitoresco, tão “postal”! O amor pelo countryside continua a crescer e dou por mim a sorrir enquanto conduzo de volta para casa: a vista é fantástica, especialmente em dias com sol. Decidi que está na altura de partilhar este meu amor pelo countryside e por isso vou passar a publicar fotos que tirei desde que me mudei para cá. A maioria é do Somerset, o distrito (?) em que vivemos , mas outras fotos são de outros locais! Espero que gostem.

Portuguese || Português
I love tins/cans and I find myself wanting to buy things, just because they are sold in cute cans and tins! Its was not the case of the following item. Browsing my supermarket a few months ago, I found these beautiful sardine cans. They have a very retro look, which is quite appealing and I was over the moon when I read that they are portuguese! Just too perfect!
Eu adoro latas e às vezes dou por mim a querer comprar coisas só porque elas são vendidas dentro de latas giras! Não foi o caso do que vos apresento hoje. Vageando pelo meu supermercado há vários meses atrás, encontrei estas lindas latas de sardinha. As latas têm um ar muito retro, o que me atraiu imediatamente e fiquei extasiada quando li que as sardinhas são portuguesas! Perfeito!
