Lets play! || Vamos brincar!
I’m launching a new line of products, something that makes my imagination fly… pretend food! When I was a little girl, I was crazing about pretending: pretend that I was this and that, that I was doing this or that… now that I’m a grownup, I do not have much time to play pretend, but I still have some time to craft some pretend food! For now I have 3 different sets available: a Tea Party Set and a Quick Lunch Set! What do you think?
Acabei de lançar uma nova linha de produtos, algo que faz a minha imaginação voar… comida faz-de-conta! Quando era pequena adorava brincar ao faz-de-conta: faz-de-conta que sou isto ou aquilo, faz-de-conta que vou fazer isto ou aquilo… agora que já sou adulta, já não tenho tanto tempo para brincar ao faz-de-conta, mas ainda tenho algum tempo para fazer crafts! Por agora tenho dois conjuntos disponíveis: Festa do Chá e Almoço Rápido! Que vos parece?

I’m here! || Estou aqui!
Oh wow, such a long time since my last post… I’m now back to England and now I can say that I’m really moving in here. Until now it was kind of an on / off situation, I had to go frequently to Portugal because, after all, my work was still there. Now that I have finished the PhD I’m ready to move my life here… unfortunately family and friends will still be living in Portugal… oh well, at least there’s something amazing called internet! :
Anyway, I’ve been quite busy these days! Loads of crafts, loads, loads, as I’m preparing for the craft fair! It feels amazing to have all the time dedicated to my crafts… my head is spinning with so many ideas and I’m so happy! I will keep you updated with all the news!
uau, tanto tempo passou desde o meu último post… Estou de volta a Inglaterra e agora posso dizer que estou mesmo a mudar-me para aqui. Até agora foi uma espécie de aqui / lá, tinha que ir muitas vezes a Portugal porque era lá que estava o meu trabalho. Agora que terminei o Doutoramento estou pronta para mudar a minha vida para aqui… infelizmente a família e os amigos continuam em Portugal… bem, pelo menos existe essa coisa maravilhosa que é a internet!
Bem, tenho andado super ocupada! Muitos, muitos crafts, estou a preparar-me para a feira de crafts! É fantástico poder ter todo o tempo dedicado aos crafts… a minha cabeça fervilha de ideias e estou tão contente! Vou continuar a partilhar aqui as notícias!

New felt || Novo feltro
I decided to try a new type of felt: Kunin Felt. Kunin felt is a eco-friendly felt, it’s made of plastic bottles and some acrylic felt. I always think that if you can use an alternative that it’s more eco-friendly then we should all do it. The felt looks quite good, but unfortunately I don’t think it’s a good alternative. I don’t like the touch of this felt it’s not soft and it’s too artificial… it’s a pity because the idea of recycling plastic bottles into felt it’s brilliant!
Decidi experimentar um novo tipo de feltro: Kunin Felt. Kunin felt é um feltro amigo do ambiente, já que é feito com garrafas de plástico e algum feltro acrílico. Sempre que posso prefiro utilizar materiais mais amigos do ambiente, todos o deveríamos fazer. Este feltro tem bom aspecto, mas infelizmente não me parece uma boa alternativa. Não gosto do toque, não é macio e é demasiado artificial… é uma pena, a ideia de poder utilizar feltro que recicla garrafas de plástico é fantástica!

Bookmarks and books|| Marcadores de livro e livros
So I decided to make a bunch of bookmarks, some are old designs some are brand new. Bookmarks are fun to make and, at least for me, they are very useful since I love to read. I just finished “A Spot of Bother” by Mark Haddon and now I’m reading something very different: “The Little Black Book of Style“, by Nina Garcia. I think I will do a small note about this last book as soon as I finished it. It delivers a lot of great thought about style without being a fashion victim. Anyway, I have new bookmarks available here and here. Enjoy your readings!
Decidi fazer mais alguns marcadores de livro, uns são designs antigos, outros são novos. Gosto de fazer marcadores de livro, é divertido fazê-los e, pelo menos para mim, são muito úteis porque adoro ler. Acabei de ler “A Spot of Bother” de Mark Haddon e agora estou a ler algo muito diferente: The Little Black Book of Style“, de Nina Garcia. Acho que vou escrever algo sobre este último livro quando o terminar. Reúne uma série de ideias interessantes sobre estilo, sem nos tornarmos vítimas da moda.
