Xmas decorations || decorações de natal
I’m not going to spend xmas in England, we’re traveling to Portugal… but I like xmas so much that I need to have some decorations around… I made almost all of them (well, except the three and the cute Santa!) and I’m very pleased. My handmade xmas looks like this:
Não vamos passar o natal em Inglaterra, vamos viajar para Portugal… mas eu gosto tanto do natal que precisava de ter algumas decorações aqui em casita… Fiz as decorações quase todas (bem, execto a àrvore e o pai natal super giro!) e estou muito satisfeita. O meu natal handmade é assim:

I have a new apron || Tenho um avental novo
More than one year ago I bought a sewing machine. I tried it once, with no previous knowledge and… well, let’s just say we did not become friends! Then, I was too busy to learn how to properly work with the sewing machine. While organizing the craft fair I became aware that I needed something where I could keep the stuff at hand during the event. It needed to be practical, light and of course, nice. So I turned, again, to my sewing machine. 3 hours later and lot of pressing: I had a cute and fun apron! It has 3 frontal pockets, it’s not perfect at all, but it was made by me… from scratch! yay, I’m happy with my apron!
Há mais de um ano atrás comprei um máquina de costura. Tentei trabalhar com ela, sem qualquer conhecimento e… bem, digamos que não ficámos propriamente amigas! Depois estive sempre demasiado ocupada para aprender a trabalhar com a máquina em condições. Agora, equanto preparava a feira, percebi que precisava de algo para ter diversas coisas à mão enquanto lá estiver. Precisava de algo prático, leve e claro, giro. Foi então que me virei, novamente, para a máquina de costura. 3 horas depois e muito ferro de engomar e eu tinha um avental giro e fun! Tem 3 bolsos frontais, não está de todo perfeito, mas foi feito por mim… do zero! yay, estou contente com o meu avental novo!
